WHAT THE HECK IS BOXING DAY?!
Maybe you’ve heard of “Boxing Day” or maybe you’re like me and this is the first time you’ve heard of it! I had no ideas what it was until I started working at Lululemon!
The original meaning of Boxing Day, which originates from the UK and other European countries, is a holiday to give gifts to the less fortunate or poor but, now of course in todays pop culture it is now known as another holiday shopping day. A second Black Friday if you will.
If you’re feeling in the giving mood I encourage you to send a gift to someone you know that may be in need, or even donate some old clothes to charity today, or donate to the canned food drive to keep the original meaning a live!Â
